About the event
Coralia –Concert Choir of the University of Puerto Rico– presents its Gala Concert: Journey to Hungary 2026, a special evening celebrating its invitation to the prestigious Béla Bartók International Choir Competition, to be held from July 2–5, 2026 in Debrecen, Hungary.
Invited to compete in Category A, the competition’s most demanding level, Coralia will represent Puerto Rico on one of the most rigorous choral stages in the world. As part of its tradition before every international appearance, this gala concert presents the official competition repertoire to the public, offering a first-hand experience of the works the ensemble will perform before an international jury.
The program will reflect the stylistic diversity, interpretive depth, and technical excellence that define Coralia, offering a unique musical experience as the audience accompanies the ensemble at this important moment in its artistic journey.
